Texts from Warner Robins High School

Warner Robins High School, part of Houston County School District, sends these texts to families who ask for them, through PassRule, the school's attendance and conduct notices.

What the texts are about

A short text when your student checks in late to school or to class, has a dress-code or electronic-device incident, reaches a step on the school's discipline ladder, or is marked absent from school, or when one of those is corrected. You may reply to an absence text with the reason; replies are read by school staff, and the school may send a short pre-written follow-up question. Texts never advertise anything.

School staff may also sign up, on their own PassRule settings page, for short texts about their own students' late check-ins and discipline steps, and about hall passes: a student who asks to come to them, is on the way to them, or hasn't arrived.

How often

Message frequency varies: most days none, and a few on a school day at most. Notices are sent only between 7 AM and 9 PM; the one confirmation when you sign up, and the reply to STOP, HELP or START, come right away.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop, restart or get help

Reply STOP (or ALTO) to any text to stop them. You'll get one reply saying so, and no more texts. Reply START to get them again. Reply HELP (or AYUDA) for help.

Your choice

Signing up is up to you. It isn't a condition of anything: not your student's enrollment, and not any service from the school. You'll keep getting the school's emails either way.

How families sign up

Only through the link in an email from the school, to the mobile number the school has on file for you. You confirm on a page before any text is sent.

Your privacy

What PassRule keeps about you, why, and for how long, is in PassRule's privacy notice.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
